‼️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

Due to the recent weather conditions, including hail in our area, we want to encourage everyone to exercise caution when traveling.

At this time, Mass and Confessions will still be held as scheduled. However, your safety is important to us—please use your best judgment when deciding to attend.

If you choose to come, allow extra travel time and remain attentive to road conditions.

Let us continue to pray for the safety of our community during this time.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in distress.” (Psalm 46:1)

We warmly invite all parishioners and visitors to join us for Stations of the Cross beginning this Friday, February 20, at 7:45 PM.

These prayerful gatherings will continue each Friday through March 27th. All services will be bilingual, and everyone is welcome to attend as we journey together through this sacred season.

Come and deepen your faith as we reflect on the Passion of Christ as a community.

We look forward to praying with you.

Volunteers Needed – Perpetual Chapel Substitutes

Our parish is still looking for volunteers to serve as substitutes for our Perpetual Chapel hours. Substitutes help cover for our adorers when they are unable to attend due to vacations, appointments, or other occasions.

If you are able to help and spend time in prayer in the chapel, please consider signing up as a substitute adorer. Your

support helps ensure our chapel remains a place of continuous prayer.

For more information or to volunteer, please contact Mario Alfaro, coordinator of the group, at 256-668-5518.

Natural Family Planning (NFP) Resources

Natural Family Planning (NFP) is a safe, effective, and natural way for couples to understand and work with God’s design for fertility and family life. NFP methods are based on observing the natural signs of fertility within a woman’s cycle and can be used to achieve or postpone pregnancy without drugs or devices.

The Birmingham Catholic Engaged Encounter website offers trusted information, class options, and resources for couples interested in learning more about NFP.

Whether you are engaged, newly married, or continuing to grow in your marriage, these resources can help deepen communication, respect for life, and marital unity.
